Florian joined Waygate Technologies (then GE Sensing & Inspection) in 2010 after his master’s thesis in electrical engineering. He started his career in the Engineering department as a software developer and was the main developer for the companies first ever CT metrology system.
In 2016 he took a new role in Sales & Application and in 2018 he moved to his current role as Global Technical Leader for Metrology. In this role he supports sales representatives and application engineers around the globe on metrology projects and is an active member of the global dimensional x-ray CT community by attending several conferences and committees each year.
